The Forth Annual Ozark Slow Food Benefit Fundraiser will be held Sunday, September 18th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fayetteville home of Lynn Donald and Joel Carver.
It will feature a cooking demonstration, discussion and dinner by Chef Greg Esmond of Bordinos. The focus of the event is local, seasonal fall foods. Greg Esmond is a devoted proponent of preparing meals with high quality, local food. He will demonstrate and discuss the ideal of eating seasonal produce, when fruits and vegetables are at their peak taste, readily available, and the most nutritious.
Tickets are $75 per person and include the demonstration, full dinner, and wine.
Admission must be purchased in advance and will be limited to 30 people. *There are only a few tickets left, so please make your reservations soon.* Directions to the home of Lynn and Joel will be provided to ticket holders.
Proceeds will benefit Ozark Slow Food, one of more than 200 national chapters of the 501c3 organization Slow Food USA. Slow Food is a grassroots movement that links the joy of food with a commitment to community and the environment and seeks to regain the biodiversity of food that was once common.
